Open Mic Jacksonville, Vol. I - Poetry is an anthology of poetry that was created out of the desire to support literacy programs in the Greater Jacksonville, Florida area. Caryn Suarez, author of Living Crazy Like Fly, conceived the idea to give local poets public exposure, while contributing a portion of the proceeds to benefit literacy efforts. Fifty-four poets contributed their talents to the book.
